Hosted by myself and Datwon Thomas (now Editor-In-Chief of KING magazine), "Nocturnal Transmissions" played a mix of old-school and new-school underground rap songs. With DJs, Rhude and Freedom Child, we entertained listeners with artist interviews and skits that included a mayoral race with Noreaga (Of Capone & Noreaga). "Nocturnal Transmissions" was once hailed one of the best shows live on air by Hip Hop pioneer Kool Herc when he called in. And that's without provocation!!
